Over the years Bill played with various groups. In 1993 Bill met Don Pomranky and they started working as an acoustic duo called Acoustic Blends.
In ‘98, inspired by attending a Brian Setzer Orchestra concert, Bill and Don started a new project with 3 local musicians. This group was Three Penny Swing, the birth of what is today The Hit Men.
He lists his influences as: his grandfather who played the violin and his father who sang and played guitar professionally for many years. Among many others he favors singers such as Elvis and Michael Buble, and vocal groups, like the Beatles.
